Hello,

I want to following landscape.

server: central SLD

developer workplace 1: SLD

developer workplace 2: SLD

developer workplace X: SLD

Is it possible to syncronize the SLD's on the workplace with central SLD? Exists an installation guide? I only have found an planning guide.

All systems running NetWeaver 2004s.

Hello Thomas,

There is a post-installation guide for SLD available in SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/sld --> Media Library (as SLD is part of AS Java, no installation guide is required, only a post-inst guide that describes the configuration steps required to bring SLD into operation on an AS Java system).

There, also the user guide of SLD is available as PDF file (the user guide is also part of the normal SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver). The user guide describes how to perform synchronization of multiple SLDs.

For SLD, there are two possibilities to synchronize: one is automatic forwarding of landscape data (that is, data sent to SLD by the SLD data supplier), one is manual export/import procedure, with which you can transport any SLD data (that is, also manually entered data like name reservation data or business systems created for SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure). The planning guide you have mentioned already contains further information about this.
