as i understand we have an option to assign sales document types based on sales area. I think we might need to go in for some customizations to restrict a particualr sales doc based on plant.
from your statement, if i look at it the otherway like when you block a certain type of sales order if it means you can allow another sales document type then we can do it. Because at VOV8 sales doc type definition we can block it putting a sales doc block.
Another possibility is if you have a different distibution channel for this plants products we can do it. Becaue we assign sales org + dis chan combination to plant. Now for this sales area do not assign the doc type which you want to block.
