HACMP on R/3 or ECC 6.0

Hi,

Has anyone successfully implemented HACM in a production R/3 or ECC 6.0 environment? Does the product work? Any problems (e.g. - unintended failovers).

We tried to implement HACMP many years ago and were not successful. We devised a manual fail-over process that re-zones the SAN disk to the failover node. We now want to revisit HACMP for our upcoming ECC 6.0 implementation.

Is it true that once a system is already unstalled and running in production that it is very difficult to implement HACMP?

Hi,

We have implemented HACMP with 4.7 and tested all the scenarios,works fine without any issues.
