Hi all

I have installed the content server 6.30 on a windows server2003 OS, with MAXDB.

I am now getting an error: HTTP error: 500 Internal Server Error .

Even when I try to run http://10.27.191.66:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

The web browser displays “page cannot be displayed” message.

Can someone please help.

Hi

No Luck

the basis guy made some changes and now I am back to the Internal server error.

do you perhaps know how to set up the contentserver outside of SAP : like what services to run, ACL list in IIS ect.

thanks

Hello,

Please check the CS Installation For Windows. This has the list of settings to be activiated from IIS.

One important tip is that, it is a must that IIS should be installed before the CS is installed. I hope you did that way only.

Best regards,

Ananth.

Hi MRK

I have managed to get into the URL.

but when I get in i get the option to save the file and it does give me the status of the server. however I think it is running.

Now I have another problem when I go to OACO and try to test it says that the content repository does not exist , however I have created the repository.

any ideas.

I would glady give max points for your help and your time...

thanks

Nathan

Hi,

You need to create the repository from OAC0 as well as from CSADMIN. Now from OAC0, click on CSADMIN button, the repository should be configured like file system repository or DB etc. This is where the actual repository is created. Once this is done and activated the the test from OAC0 should work.

If you need help to do the settings let me know.

Best regards,

Ananth.

Hi Nathan,

your problem probably is the operating system 2003 64bit. I had a very similar problem, and we changed the operating system to w2003 32bit. This was the solution to our problem.

Alfredo.

Hi,

find the installation process.

1, check with the pre-requisites listed above.

2, click SAPINST.EXE in the netweaver master DVD.

3, Go to standalone engine, and select Content server Installation.

4, In the next screen specify the location of Server component CD path.

5, Select the type of installation FILE SERVER/ SAPDB.

6, Click FILESERVER installation and click next.

7, Specify the SID and check only the content server installation if you don't want Cache server.

8. Give the installation path and Repository Root of the content server.

9, Click next to continue installation.

10 Check with the parameters and revise if u needs any changes.

11, Click start to continue installation.

12, Click finish once it is done

Have you done all this steps?

Hi,

POST IMPLEMENTATION STEPS:

After installing Content server check whether it is UP and Running.

We can check the status using the URL:
