can i consider Customization as a gap?

The word 'gap' must be referred to something.

If you have a list of functionalities that must be fulfilled (a contract BOM), then all the activities related to these functionalities are not to be considered as a gap.

Otherwise is you have to implement some cutomizing to cover some unespected biz flow, then it'should be considered a gap.
