Extra quantity displayed in characteristics instead of actual quantity

Hi All,

We have an issue.

Results are recorded for an production order operation and for one operation inspected qty is 3 (Has three serial numbers), In Inspect field of characteristics overview it shows correct quantity of 3 whereas in Inspected field next to it is showing as 4 and also there is an blank line after the third result when you expand the button in single values column and we are unable to delete the same blank line as the line is greyed out so we cannot set the line as Invalid also.However we can force complete the same , But we dont want to do it unless it becomes an emergency to business.

Any Suggestions / Solutions will be much appreciated

Somehow your sampling procedure for that particular characteristic calculated the 4 results should be tested.

I doubt you'll be able to 'fix' the current lot. You'll need to force close it. But for future lots you'll want to test why this time, that characteristic wants 4 results instead of 3. As I'm sure you know, this is usually determined by the sample procedure calculation.

Hi Craig,

The sampling procedure is 100% inspection type.Anyway we force closed this time , But we are unable to replicate the same issue in other systems.Just curious to find out the same.
