It's not mandatory. You can edit your xslt files in notepad, if you like.

Of course, using IDE-like tools really help (Altova XMLSpy, Altova Mapforce etc.).

Hi Abdul,

if we want to wotk with XSLT mapping means we can use Altova XML Spy for the same.

There u can make the .xsl extension file. and Zip that.

After that come to IR and Imprt that Zip file into Import Archives.

Then no need of Mapping development in IR separately.

Hi,

As of know we should generate .xml files from the Message type or Message Mapping level

Follow the steps in Integration Repository to get the xml files

From Message Type click on XSD tabstrip save the code at local desk top.

From message mapping (only for testing purpose, after xml structures we can remove it) level follow the steps to get the both(Source and Target) xml structure

after complete the message mapping click on "Source Test View" and copy the xml code at local desk top for both structures.

Gothrough the following pdf.

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/soa/soa-middleware...

Reward points if it is useful.

Thanks,

Satish.
