We should Have a Plant assigned to one company code only

Because,

We Maintain Chart of Accounts at Company code Level.

i.e.,Master Data(G/L Accounts) in FI Module is at Company code.

If you assign a Plant to Different Company codes, There will be a Confusion in G/L Accounts....

There may be some problem with your system.

or else you may testing SDNers..

No it is not possible to assign one plant to many company codes.......

simple reason will be...accounting documents will be maintained at company code level and if u assign one plant to many CC then the plant's accounting process will be carried in all CC..which is not at feasible according to B/S...

Hi,

It should not. Plant to company code is a many-to-one entity.

A company code can have multiple palnts, but a plant can have only one company code.
