I have managed to connect to: SAP (of course!), MS Access, Oracle DB (both sql statements and stored procedures), web services, and am currently trying out XMLA connection to Hyperion multi dimentional cubes (instead of SAP BI).

Use search to find earlier threads on the subject. There are many!!

You can search "How To Configure a BI JDBC System for Visual Composer" and "How to Create a Web Service using Enterprise JavaBeans" on the SDN.

Hi Evans,

Create JDBC system in Portal to connect to a particula database. This sytem will be listed in VC also, through which you can access stored procedures at the database.

For using web services, it is possible to define a webservice system within the VC itself.

In short, which ever systems can be connected through portal, all those can be connected from VC also.
