Problem Importing Request to PRD - Urgent

HI Everybody,

I have a Problem importing transport Requests to Production Server. We have 2 System Landscape.

From the Development server a request has been released. when i try to Import it show the Running Status in my PRD. but after a few seconds the status goes to Green(ie., Request waiting to be imported). So im not able to import anything to my PRD Server.

i got these Errors messages in Import Monitor,

Maximum Return Code: 0212 - tp ended

tp finished: could not access file as supposed (see dev_tp or SLOG0815.P

What may be the Reason. How to resolve it. Please someone Provide me Details.

Hello Siva,

This might very well be an issue at OS level. Do this simple thing.

1. Ensure no import is running into your production. Then delete any entry in the import monitor. Subsequently kill any TP process that is running at OS level. Double check this OS part. Also under /usr/sap/trans/tmp folder delete any related TP files.

Once this is done start the import anew.

Under usr/sap/trans/tmp i have one SAR file and PRD files. i have no TP files in that.

Hi,

Do you have the same transport dir or different for each system?

If different then first you have adjust the transport files and then import

Check the dev_tp and post it here.

This suggest that the cofile and data file cannot be accessed... check that the files exist or/and that the /usr/sap/trans is mounted.
