With 'Unprocessed' do you mean 'not succesful'?

In this case you should try to manually confirm the messages (in SXMB_MONI - Cancel Processing of messages with Error CTRL F8) and then run all the deletion jobs again. Sometimes this helps - but I also have several messages that wouldn't disappear after that treatment.

Hi Prabhat -

You have to cancel them first, either manually or via a report. Please see Note 872388 and 820149 for details. Following is the relevant portion from 872388:

10) Check if there are asynchronous messages in error status.

Asynchronous messages in error status are neither deleted nor archived.

This behaviour is different to erroneous synchronous messages which get

deleted after their retention period (see step 5) has expired).

Asynchronous erronous messages, however, must be cancelled and then be

archived. You can either use transaction SXMB_MONI, search for erronous

messages and manually cancel them. Or you can use the report provided by

SAP: RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES. Should you decide (for non-productive

systems only) that you would like to delete these manually cancelled

messages, please use note 820149.

Prabhat , there is a report RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES that you canm run frm tcode - se38. Have you tried this !! well it does not prompt you for confirmation nor does it provide any filtering option for selective delete, but i do not see any issues using this in your dev box.

i do not get what you mean by unprocessed(!!) messages. Does this mean failed messages or canceled messages or blocked messages due to non-available receievers ?

This report will delete successful messages as well.

I have the solution for this problem.

I had over 9.000 unprocessed messages. All these messages were log messages because in my test system logging is switched on.

I start a SAP call for this problem and now there is a support package dealing with this problem.

See 930181 !

After installing the package start your delete job!

Hi Prabhat,

plz look to SXMB_ADM Config Integr Engine / Specific Configuration / Categorie "DELETION". There is a documentation (click on 'i') for each parameter how to configure which messages your job should delete.
