availability check

in the stock requirement list, there are two purchase orders and one purchase requisition and already there in stock, now whenever i create a sales order only 3 no;s are confirmed even after i do it for 2 times for two different sales orders

po requirement -2

already in stock -1

purchae requisition -1

for a new order for eg, 10 only 3 gets confirmed i saved it,

i create new order again it is confirming 3 quanties taking those po and available in consideration

Hi,

Just check by mmbe whether the plant you are entering has sufficient stock as per the total quantity of sales order you are confirming.

Just check that and if its not try creating PO for that relevant quantity.

Maybe the qty shown must be as reserved qty for another sales order.

my question in if there are purchase orders for the plant for 3 quantity, and if 2 sales order comes for 5 quantity, how can both the order can be confirmed for 3 quantity

Hi,

When you create sale order system is doing availability check.

First sale order system showing confirmed 3 qty.

For second also system will show again the same 3 no's.

This is correct, because when system is doing availability check it is not confirming the qty. At that time 3 no's are available.

So when second sale order comes, that time also showing the same 3 qty available.
