Error in balance display

Hi experts,

In the transaction FS10 for GL Balances, the balances was displaying monthly correct. but when i double click on the balance of the month then the error message was coming. error is :Line layout does not exist Message no. F4620.

How to resolve this error? kindly give any inputs for me to resolve.

Hi Soma,

check the GL account master data in FS00 whether it has ticked line item display or not in Control tab for which account you are trying to see the balance.

if line item display is not ticked then tick the line item dispaly check box and save the account.you can view the result when u double click on month balances.

hi,

this error message is coming because of non ticking of line item display in control data(Company Code Segment)in FS00.

Tick Line Item Display and give sort key like 001(any) then you can able to view the line items,but prier this setup what are the line items r there u will not able to see the line items.
