hi all,

i have only one sales area and credit control area whose currency is eur. for some customers, i want to define and follow limits as usd. can i do this?

yes absolutely u can do it . but before that u make settings for currency converiosn in OC41

i want to define 100 usd for a customer. but at fd32, i can't do this. i have to define limit 63.23 eur that equals 100 usd. i don't want to make this calculation while defining limits.

then wht is the fun of maintaining credit limit to the customer?????.

u can do one thing

like fixing overall credit limit and individual credit limit

try to give more valuein over all limit.

It is possible , maintain exchange rate types

go to IMG- SAP NETWEAVER- GENERAL SETTINGS - MAINTAIN EXCHANGE RATE TYPES.

here the FI consultant will give 1euro = 2usd (this is an example). so as you have some usd customers for them maintain currency as USD in Customer master record and for Euro customers mainatain currency as Euro in customer master record
