PAR file not deployed to DEV

Have created Portal application with simple HelloWorld component.

Can deploy the generated .par file manually to the DEV server, and can run it through an iview.

It builds without failures, and changes move to the import queue of CONS.

All is well, build queues are empty, deploy queues are empty...

but the .par file does not get deployed to DEV, have checked with administration console in DEV portal.

Here's the deploy log (TCS deploy):

What does "no archive to deploy" mean ?

Is it not possible to use NWDI for portal application development ?

There are two DC types for Portal development:

1. Portal Application Module: Does not have a deployable result (no SDA generated during build for SDM)

2. Portal Application Standalone: Has a deployable result (PAR packed into SDA, so it can be deployed with SDM)

Make sure you are using the correct DC type.
