I am a little bit confused & need your help to understand the following concepts (in a central as well as high availability environment). Please explain with an example (if possible). Suppose the OS is UNIX, SAPSID=NWV, DBSID=PRD (Oracle), Instance #:= 01, Host=sapunix.

Application Server

Central Instance

Central Services Instance

Dialog Instance

Hi Anjan, these concepts you can find them in the installation guides, I saw a lot of installation guides with a extensive explanations with diagrams.
