I am supposed to retrieve data from tables in SAP and this is supposed to be available to SAP XI in the form of XML structure.I am then supposed to map this data to a HTML file.Can somebody please tell me how is this possible?
you can get the data for example by RFC (also ABAP proxy would be a solution). Inside the XI use a XSLT mapping, to build the HTML source code. To write the file use File / FTP adapter. Plz ask for details which r not clear.
As I understand the requirement is to generate a html document from incoming data. I would suggest using a xslt mapping to generate required html file.
