ITSMobile - BarCode Scanning

Hi folks!

We have developing a ITSMobile service for a Supermarket. We have to auto-filling one field of a Dynpro (the product code) getting data from a BarCode reader (integrated into a Intermec CN3 device).

Is this supported (actually) by ITSMobile?? Someone has any documentation of this o can explain me??

PD: also we have reading in this forum that exists an auto-enter property in the devices. If we read a barcode, what data are put on the input field??

Hi Francisco,

the question which device is supported is very easy to answer.

Every device it is on the market available

- it depends on the operating system running on the mobile device

or to answer it better it depends on the web browser running on the device.

(so in normal way we use the microsoft IE - thats the reason why it depends on

the operating system) [the ITSmobile generates HTML that will be send to the client = webbrowser]

There are to ways to Integrate an auto-enter functionality but this depends

on the mobile device.

1. an additional software that runs on the mobile device

2. over a Equi Tag that can be interpreted by the industrial browser where the application is running

So check your documentation (of the mobile device)
