Hi all!

After certain time of processing of customized reports, it'll give dump automatically if it takes still time to execute. Can we increase the time period? If yes,please suggest how to do it.

You can change a paramter in the instance profile (rz10) choose your extended

than change this parameter

rdisp/max_wprun_time

This parameter limits the maximum runtime of a process step within

a dialog process. This ensures that dialog processes are not blocked

by programs with long runtimes which hinder online activity.

Often, the most time is required by a long-running SQL statement.

During processing, such SQL statements do not permit interruptions in

the database level. So that each time an SQL is successfully processed

the system is not interrupted, each process has a second chance, that

the maximum runtime is double the value of the parameter.

default is 300 (seconds)

When you have changed it, you can save and activated. But attention you have to restart SAP before your changes will be active

Using RZ11 this parameter can be changed without restarting too.
