Hi Experts,

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/304335f7-f33c-2a10-ae80-9c9ffdc8...

I got the info from the 5th page of above document that, WS-ReliableMessaging supports in PI 7.1.

Recently I received a reply for one of my thread that, even XI/PI 7.0 supports WS-ReliableMessaging. Really confused now.

If XI/PI7.0 supports, then could please tell me how to achieve it from that versions?

Please do the needful.

Regards

Sara

Hi SARA,

Currently WS-RM adapter is available only with PI 7.1

In future, they have planned to downport it with PI 7.0>=SP13, but no specified date yet.

No, WS-RM is only available for back end systems based on NW 7.0 Sp 14. This will enable the back ends to exchange data via WS-RM protocol with PI 7.1

PI 7.0 will not have WS-RM functionality.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks. Can you please elaborate what exactly it means.

I had read that WS-RM will be downported to Nw 7.0 >SP14

That is true.

Do you notice the difference between NW 7.0 and PI 7.0 ?

As I already mentioned, you will be able to connect any NW 7.0 SP14 to PI 7.1 with WS-RM protocol.

But you will not be able to connect NW 7.0 to PI 7.0 with WS-RM protocol.

Hi stefan,

Still there is confusion.

Is not PI 7.0 part of NW 7.0?

NW is not any different product.

Does NW 7.0 means WAS 7.0?
