Workflow - Quality Notification

Hi all,

The scenario is when the Quality Notification is created , a mail should trigger to External mail Id ( say lotus notes ,Gmail etc).

How to map this in SAP with the help of Workflow.

Hi Vidya,

There are two ways you can do this

If you set the workflow for quality notification,

1.you'll get the mail to your business worplace. This can be made to trigger to the concerned person thro

i. send mail option

ii. Execute SE38 and run program RSCONN01

the mail will be sent to the concerned person

2. In the user profile maintain the user id and execute

Execute SE38 and run program RSCONN01

Hi Vidya,

We can Send the mail to External email Id like (Yahoo, G-mail ) Provided your server has to be linked with external gate way.

This actvity can be done by BASIS Team .

We have the standard work flow template where we can change the mail id.

Mail can be trigerred to the ID , when the notification is created.

We have tested its working.

hi,

For this you have to configure the settings of workflow and seperate server linking has to be done which will be done by the Basis consultant. Take the help of Basis consultant if it is there in your business scope only.
