Grade and variety fields in purchase order

HI GURU'S,

Can any body help me in resolving the followin issue,

in the purchase order two new fields grade and variety to be appear with select options and the user will select the option from the list.

and the same should be populated to stock overview, which will help in getting the stock statement based on grade and variety.
