Hi,

1.we have a scenario of changing mc

Ex: old ADBVDJNEX New ADBVDJBSF

2.change of article master mc from ADBVDJNEX to ADBVDJBSF.

could u plz send us process flow for above changes.

Hi,

To re-class an article in an MC, we can use TCode WRC4 where we can select by MC/ Article(s)

combination and then re-class. We can then activate using TCode WRCV either immediately or at a

later date.

To re-classify MC for an article user T.Code: WRCE, Enter the article and Enter the New Merchandise Category.

Remove the Test run and Execute.

If you are able to create a new MC with the correct name, then use the

transaction WRCR

- reclassify the article to the new MC

- delete the MC

But be careful, there could be existing PO documents related to this MC

If you are not able to delete the MC and do reclassification for all articles

you should open an CSS message and ask support for help.

It can be done with some effort.

SAP services offers an migration service too for system wide MC migration.
