Merge to columns in the report ...

Hi Guys..

In My report I want to merge to columns using WAD..

For example …Diff column’s A B C D E F ,I want to merge two column in the report (exp.. E,F)

How to merge columns.. Waiting for your valuable input...

What do those columns contain? Are they characteristic vallues or any other type.

If chars, one way is compounding. This will let you combine the values of two chars. Again if on WAD see if table interface would do something. I did not try combining two columns with table interface but hope it will work.

Both the column's Contanines Materdata Text information .

For exp Jestification1, Jestification 2 infobjects

With Master data text. In this case how to merge these 2 columns.

Hi,

There are two ways.

1.If you want to achieve this throw report only, then u have to go with Virtual Key figure.

2.If u want to take throw update rule level, in the update routine u can concatenate two columns and can assign to third column.

As my suggestion, use 2nd way. That will be very simple comparing with first step.
