Batch condition records

Dear experts,

The batch management is active in our warehouse and the batch is determined according to FIFO during TO creation for deliveries.

My question is.. do we need to create the batch search condition records to pick the batches according FIFO? Or does the system automatically pick the batches as per FIFO during the TO creation?

I have not assigned any batch search procedure to our warehouse in configuration.

Please advise.

Hello

Being using FIFO method to check the batch you need to maintain the batch condition record and search procedure for deliveries.

While creating delivery system will search for the batches available for delivery. From these batches it will search according to FIFO method. But if according to FIFO method selected batch was not meeting the criterias for delivery (e.g. Shelf life expired) it needs to check the next available batch and this is done by Search strategy.

Please define batch search strategy and assigned for delivery so that exact batch with matching parameters will be used for delivery.
