CLIENT COPYING

hi friends,

I am a sd functional consultant

I want to do cin configuration, for that i have to copy 000 client to 100 client?? becoz i dont want to change master client.

kindly send me the process steps detaily

Hello Manu,

For client copy login to source client with t-code scc4 and create the new client. Provide the details for new clients.

check for the the profile parameter

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0

login to destination client with sap* and p/w as pass.

run t-code sccl for local client copy with sap_all.

Kindly provide the points if issue solve.

Hi,

1) Create client 100 with Tcode SCC4 (change - New entry,Provide the client details)

2) Make sure login/no_automatic_user_sapstar profile parameter has the value 0(this can be checked with RZ11),if its not change the default profile(make this parameter value to zero) with RZ10 and activate the profile and restart the application(stopsap r3,startsap r3)

3)login to the new client with sap*(initial password will be pass)

4) execute SCCL and provide the source client,source master data..etc details and execute the client copy(may be in background).

5)You can monitor the status of client copy with SCC3.
