Problem with Idoc type MATMAS_MASS_BAPI02

Hi All,

I am trying to use idoc type MATMAS_MASS_BAPI02 to update consumption values on a material master. I have mapped the segments

E1BPE1MATHEADER

E1BPE1MATHEADERX

For the material number 1000164

E1BPE1MVEG

Fields

MATERIAL

PLANT

FIRST_DAY

CONS_VALUE

I get the message in MM90

Problem class Additional Information

After pressing the details icon

o Plant

o Storage Location

What other segments/field should I be mapping values to?

The problem was with the way the material format was required numberic packed with 0 non numeric not packed.

Trying to change: 1000164 ____ ____ ____ __________ ______ __ _ _

This means that SAP has only a value for the material number, the underlines are replace by plant, sales org, storage location etc. if available.

A consumption update needs at least the plant.

Hi Jurgen,

I realise that a plant is needed and have mapped the plant field in the segement. I understand what the message is telling me, but I don't know how or where I need to pass the plant data.
