Can NOT start the dispatcher on windows NT

We installed a SAP system on NT.

However whenever we try to start the service DISPATCHER, we get the error: "process terminated unexpectedly".

There is NO other message about this.

Eric, I dont think he meant services for services.msc.

Can you provide the logs of dev_disp pls?

there are no services called DISPATCHER.

please provide the exact service name you are trying to start. it should look like SAPPRD_00.

check pathname/executable of this service, this file must exist.

as a last resort, copy this executable path and past it in a Command prompt. you might get more meaningful error messages that will help you fix this.
