can any body tell the disadvantage of creating secondary index.
wht r the types of secondary indexes
wht is unique index and non- unique index.

Hi,
A secondary index is any index that is not a partitioning |index. You can create an index on a table to enforce a uniqueness constraint, |to cluster data, or most typically to provide access paths to data for queries.
A secondary index can be partitioned .
two types of secondary indexes:
Nonpartitioned secondary index (NPSI)
Data-partitioned secondary index (DPSI)
