Hi Thamizhchelvan,

Here is summary of data mapping between ECC vs APO for PDT and Checking Hrz.

1)Planned delivery ( in ECC – MRP2 ) = Planned Deliv. Time ( in APO – Procurement Tab)

2) Checking Hrz. :-

 Total replenishment time = Checkg Horizon

 If Total replen. Time is not maintained

- For Inhouse production Checkg Horizon = In house prod. Time + GR time

- For Externally produce Checkg Horizon = Planned delivery time

Hope this will help you.

Reward points are welcome.

I got the same mistake here...

Although, my field total replenishment lead time is populated (MRP3 - WZEIT), the product data is filled with the rule:

For Procurement type E=Replenishment Lead Time, F=PDT+GR Processing Time

Did it happen with you ? Did you find any note?

Regards.

This is standard behaviour. Checking Horizon is calculated as follows -

For Procurement Type E or X - Total Replinishment Lead Time

(or if Total Replinishment Lead Time is not maintained, In-House Production time)

For Procurement Type F- Planned Delivery Time + Goods Receipt Processing Time + Purchase Processing Time (for plant if maintained in Tcode OMEW).

Little surprising why planned delivery time and checking horizon are different. Usually planned delivery time from ECC comes into both those fields. Reasons why they could be different -

1) CIF user exits that may be disallowing updates to one of those fields

2) Change transfer not setup on ECC side (BDf9 --> CIFMAT --> check if planned delivery time is setup for change transfer)

Hi Thamizhchelvan,

Here is the explaination why you see differences.

Following are the mapping of data ECC vs APO

Planned delivery ( in ECC – MRP2 ) = Planned Deliv. Time ( in APO – Procurement Tab)

Total replenishment time ( in ECC – MRP3) = Checkg Horizon ( in APO – ATP Tab)

Hope this will help you.

Hi Thamizhchelvan ... ,

If you have not entered a total replenishment lead time in the sap system, for a product procured externally. the planned delivery time is adopted in the checking horizon ( APO) at the time of the transfer.please check once again and let me know
