hello,

i have a doubt in 4.6 version of application server , do we require external component ( Business connector ) to connect to the ITS, and then Accesing the Browser. Or ITS itself acts a external component. correct me if iam wrong

hello,

no, you don't need an external component (except a WebServer).

The ITS itself consist of two components:

- the Agate which is connected to the SAP (R/3) application server and usually is located in the intranet zone and

- the Wgate which is connected to a Web Server (e.g. IIS) and is usually located in the DMZ

btw.: Business connector is an entirely other component. It's more a 'middleware'...
