MI 7.1: Plugin problem.

Hi experts,

In NWM 7.1 I have installed the mobile plugin for Laptop and PDA and in the Dev Studio I still don't see the Mobile perspective for development.I followed the procedure mentioned in following link

And the plugins are

com.sap.ip.me.mdk.developmentTools.ecp

com.sap.mobile.ap.ecp

com.sap.tc.mobile.dt.cfswrap.ecp

com.sap.tc.mobile.dt.mbomodel.ecp

com.sap.tc.mobile.mwd.tools.projsys.ecp

please guide me.

Hi,

i realize that the some of the plugin not provide by sap at the cd.

So try to download the plugin from service market.

Hi Rajesh,

Please follow [this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/b6/0f5c4a07cd4bcdb58598760cb27766/frameset.htm] document for plugin installation.

Please make the following changes in your procedure, as per the above document

1. Topic : Installing the Mobile Applications for Handheld Plug-In

Step #2. In the …\Program Files\SAP\IDE\CE\eclipse\plugins\com.sap.tc.ap\comp folder, create a new folder with the name XOCA, and place the contents of com.sap.tc.mobile.dt.oca.ap file in XOCA folder.

2. Topic: Installing the Mobile Applications for Handheld Plug-In

Step #6. Remove the following lines in default.confdef

<variant-mappings>

<variant-mapping used-compartment="SAP_BUILDT" used-variant-name="default"/>

<variant-mapping used-compartment="NWMCLIENT" used-variant-name="default"/>

</variant-mappings>

This will solve the issue.
