SSO2 error while signing on to BW intranet site

Hi all,

We just moved our servers and are getting SSO error saying that "Invalid host name for issuing SSO2 ticket" in the logon screen, Initially I thought that its due to missing crptic files for SSL(had that problem earlier) but we are not using SSL so that cant be it. Can anybody help?

I think you would need to get a a new verify.der (certificate file) file from the issuing system and add the certificate to BW again using t-code strustsso2

So you are saying to download verify.der from BW client and reapply in strustsso2? can you tell me how can I download it?

Which system are you trying to sign onto the BW system from?

Is it your enterprise portal?

Its not portal. Its just a BW web service for BW web reports.

can you give us the url pattern you are using

i guess its a issue of not using fully qualified domain name.

pls check note 616900 and look for FQDN or Fully Qualified Domain Name

I could also recommend note Note 434918 too: "A BSP is started from Transaction SE80 and contains a shortened URL (no domain name). You can solve this problem with the icm/host_name_full profile parameter."
