Identifying ESS DC's

Hi,

I uploaded and Configured ESS BP. I can able to see the views also. But i want to modify the standar iviews.

Here are my doubts:

1) Do v need NWDI setup to customize standard ESS DC's ?

2)Without NWDI, can we upload DC's into NWDS and can change....

3)my EP version is 7.0 with SP level 15. So, which SP level of IDE is require ...

4)How to identify DC's. Directly by the name or any naming convention is available to find DC's?

Kindly Give me a clarity on thesee....

Following are the answers to your questions

Yes, you need to setup NWDI, without it you cannot customize ESS

2)Without NWDI, can we upload DC's into NWDS and can change....

No there's not such facility to upload the DCs into NWDS if you don't have NWDI setup

3)my EP version is 7.0 with SP level 15. So, which SP level of IDE is require ...

As a thumb rule you should always use the IDE of same SP level as that of your portal. You can download the same from service marketplace for your service pack 15

4)How to identify DC's. Directly by the name or any naming convention is available to find DC's?

DCs names are self explanatory and are generally ESS/MSS or employee self service
