J1iiN(Excise for factory sale) what is this transaction used for and what should be done using this...someone said to use J1iiN...So can anyone provide me the steps and details.
I will reward good points.
Dear raghu ram
In J1IIN, you are creating excise invoice for the goods being despatched from a manufacturing plant. As you would be aware for any material that is going out of a manufacturing plant, you are suppose to raise an excise invoice whether duty is applicable or not as per the Central Excise Law.
So whenever you despatch a goods from a plant be it for domestic or exports, you need to create an excise invoice through J1IIN. Hope this explain satisfied you to reward points )
thanks

In Indian Environment, Excise Duty plays a vital role in manufacturing environment. In SAP, the process flow for manufacturing companies in India is as under:
Sales Order (VA01) --> Delivery & PGI (VL01N) --> Commercial Invoice (VF01) --> Excise Invoice (J1IIN)
Assumption: CIN Configuration is in place.
