When we develop form is it printer specific?
I developed a form using default local printer. When some other user prints the forms the data is not displayed properly(aligment id getting messed up). What should I do?
Thanks,
AP
Hello,
Forms are specific to device type and not printers.
Printer settings are maintained in transaction SPAD by BASIS. When we develop a form we need to make sure that the printer which we are testing has the same device type as the printer which end user use to print.

Yes, u should first set the spool settings for a particular form.

Hope these links helps you out.
Also each user will have a his specific Spool Control data configured. If you execute TCode SU3 and go to Defaults tab then here you can see the Output Device configured for you. Similar is the case with the other users. Beacuse of these reasons the Output display may differ. Try having the same Output device for all the users who will give the form prints and see if the problem still repeats or not.
Thanks and Regards,
