Dear all,

Can some one help me with the binary file format used in Emigall . I m getting an error message "Error processing Legacy System Key".

in which part of data migration you get this error message?

The line "Error processing Legacy System Key XXXXXXXX" is a general error, it's always preceeded with a line containing the real error for that key.

On a general note, I'd recommend using the tab seperated file format of emigall, not the binary one. It's much more stable.

hi kevin,

when u migrate the data through EMIGALL you will have to maintain legacy system key in binary or text file .

suppose u r doing data migration for business partner through partner migration object u can enter the old business partner or consumer number in legacy system key.

Hi,

as Kevin answered better use text format not binary format that is mainly for using by EMIGALL reports and inside SAP system.
