SAP Solution Manager with EP

I wud like to know how Solution Manager will go with EP. As I am new can someone pls explain with a real time scenario.

What do you want to do with SolMan and EP?

If you want to monitor the EP out of SolMan you have several options:

- simple scenario or you have SolMan without JAVA Add-On: you can use GRMG scenarios to check availability of EP

- extended scenario based on JAVA Add-On: configure End-to-End Diagnostics and you can monitor everything of your EP (Workload, Changes made, Traces for troubleshooting, ...)
