Hi

We have a ECC box which has been installed locally i.e, it is not setup on to a domain . I have an issue with the WDA .The error that occurs is

User and Transaction

Client.............. 110

User................ "BASIS"

Language Key........ "E"

Transaction......... " "

Program............. "CX_FQDN=======================CP"

Screen.............. "SAPMHTTP 0010"

Screen Line......... 2

Information on Caller ofr "HTTP" Connection:

Plug-in Type.......... "HTTP"

Caller IP............. "199.166.155.55"

Caller Port........... 8020

Universal Resource Id. "/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/configure_application"

There isnt a FQDN for the setup here .What am i supposed to do for the WDA to work without a FQDN.

Regards,

Vinay

Hello,

To run WDAs you need an FQDN, to solve you problem, read this: [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/67/be9442572e1231e10000000a1550b0/content.htm], [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/43/e86de5008b4d9ae10000000a155369/frameset.htm].

hi vinay...

a web dynpro application surely needs a domain to be executed..... because the url must be like... <domain>.com.
