ECC 6 UPGRADATION

Hi All

Currently we are running SAP R/3 4.7 , now we want to upgrade SAP R/3 4.7 to ECC 6 . What are the steps and kindly gine me the installation guides .

Thanks for your reference . Than What is meant by a mock system ? and let me know ehat is the relationship between the ECC 6 and SAP ERP 2006 SR3 ?

Hi,

it's SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 not SAP ERP 2006 SR3

In SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 , it has ECC 6.0 SR3 ( support release 3 ).

Mock system means first make the system copy then after proceed for upgrade on the copied system. ( it's optional )

Hi,

download the upgrade guide from following

service.sap.com/instguides

Installation & Upgrade Guides -> SAP ERP -> SAP ERP 6.0 -> Upgrade -> Upgrade Documentation - SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 -> select your database for windows

Pre-activities: -

1. Installation of SAP (Current Version) in mock system

2. Database copy on Mock system through system Copy

3. Upgrading Oracle version 9i to 10G with latest patch ( if you are using oracle database )
