Venkatesh,
So basically you want to send the data from R/3 to XI, am I right? Do you have RFC in R/3? If yes then you can create Sender RFC and proceed with the scenario.

hi,
In addition to above replies, you can also go with inbound proxy to update the ztable in R/3 system to check & confirm the connection between R/3 & XI.
First make the connection between R/3 and XI as per this blog to enable the proxy.

Now you can follow the below mentioned blog to test your scenario..

Hi Venkat,
You need to create a RFC depending on your requirement (Sender or Recvier side) ..........And the RFC should be in such a way that it should create ztable or zfields in R/3 system
And also the to get connnected create a RFC destination in transaction "SM59"...
and also u can the test the RFC here..............

Hi
You don't have to perform any actions for testing the connection between the Xi and R3; Only thing that you need to check is the presence of entry for the R3 system in the SLD and you have to use the same Business system in configuration.
Check that the Business system in SLD is logically representing the R3 that you want to use for RFC.
