Patching solman: SPAM or SP_MANAGER (CRM)?

Hi,

Solution Manager (4.0) is our first CRM-based system. When patching, is it best practice to use the CRM SP_MANAGER for all patches, or use SPAM for non-CRM-related patches?

Hello,

For solution manager 4.0, both SPAM and SP_MANAGER are the same. But for real CRM systems or previous release of Solution Manager, you need to us SP_MANAGER.
