Hello,

When i am creating sales order then system gives messege "No business area can be determined for item 000010"

please tell me where assignment has been missed.

Hi,

Please go to folowing transaction and check the assignments :

1) Assign Plant to Company Code [Tr Code - OX18]

2) Assign Business Area to Plant/Valuation Area & Division [Tr Code - OMJ7]

To check whether business area assignments are missing for valuation areas please go to following transaction :

-> Data Commparison with SAles Plant / ValArea-Div-BusArea [Tr Code - OMJM]

Maintain the valid entry and then again rerun the process and check whether you are getting the error again.

Hello,

Please cross check the business area rule which you have defined. SPRO --> Enterprise Structure --> Sales and distribution --> Buness area accoutn assignment --> Define rules by business area.

Maintian the rule and based on the rule you maintianed, assign the business area to sales area or to plant/division.

Once these settings are perfect, try to generate one more order and let us know whether you face this issue or not?

Check the Business area assignments settings in the SPRO>Enterprise structure>Sales and Distribution -->Business area account assignment.

**Define rules by Sales area-->enter '1'

**Assign Busineaa area to Plant and Division

Hi,

You have to assign the buisness area for that

i.e in SPR0>S&DBUISNESS AREA DETERMINATION.

here u will find a couple of rules

1. buisness area can be determined according sales area

2.according to plant and division.

so assign the buisness area accordingly.
