Unplanned depreciation error: AA576

Hi All,

I am trying to post unplanned depreciation(ABAA) for the fiscal year 2006, for an asset which is assigned to the Group Asset.

When I am trying to post the following error is coming and no further processing is possible:

"Dep. area is assigned to a group asset. Function not possible."

Message no. AA576

Hi Ravi,

Thanks for the reply.

My deprn area 15 is assigned to the Group asset.

But all my assets are been assign to the Group asset and we could perform the Unplanned depreciation for the other assets but not to this asset.

This asset is acquired inthe year 2006, in which i am trying to post the unplanned depreciation with TType 650--unplanned depreciation on the current year acquistion as this asset is capitalised inthe 2006 only.
