Hi experts,
I am currently working for a scenario which involves 3 R/3 systems and one legacy system. I need to do data cleansing before we could replicate the data to SRM.
I would appreciate if any one could guide me what objects need to be involved for data cleansing and if there are any std procedures within SAP r/3.
Is SAP MDM a good tool to recommend for cleansing ?As I am new to this new dimension product, I seek your help in this regard.
Immense Thanks in advance

Hi,
I don't think there are any standard procedures in R/3 for this. But, SAP MDM is the right tool for this. It comes with certain standard repositories like Material, Supplier, Employye and Customer. MDM also has various tools that can be used. One of them is Import Manager which can be used for importing data from different systems, cleanse, consolidate the data before sending the consolidated and cleansed data to other systems.
You can find further information in SDN's articles, bloga and also check service.sap.com.
Hope this is helpful.
Regards,
Rajani
