What is Customer Type. How 2 identify a customer that it belongs to which customer type.

To my knowledge, we can classify into two types.

a) Internal to an organization and

b) External to an organization

Dear David,

Do you mean that Account group type !!!!

Like customer belongs to which account group , Sold-to-party or Ship- to-party or Bill-to-party or Payer.

If yes

Go to transaction XD02 enter your customer press enter system will take you to the general data tab there you go to menu>Extras> click on Administrative data system will give the details about account group.

If not

Go to transaction XD02 enter your customer press enter system will take you to the general data tab there you go to menu>Extras> Account group Info -->Customer types, here you can find the customer type of that customer is in gray mode.

Example:- If the customer is sold -to -party customer type is Consumer.
