Removal Of Batch Management

Hi SD/MM Gurus,

We have activated batch management & now are planning to remove the same.Can any body suggest config for same.

Hi,

To deactivate batchmangement for materilas you can use the report RVBREVMATBM if available in your system (if not check OSS).

Alternatively:

In material master work scheduling view, you can deselect batch management indicator for that particular material.

Thanks a lot for replying.

The program you suggested is not in our system.

Secondly, as per the alternative you suggested

we are not able to find the Scheduling View in the material master.

Pl. suggest.

The management has taken decision not to remove batch

Dear Anil,

-->Go to transaction MM02 enter the material which you want to deactivate the batch management then select sales:General plant data tab go in to that here you can find check Box for Batch management under general data you remove the tick mark in that box then save the material.

--->Go to IMG regarding configuration settings

IMG path is

SPRO->Logistics- General>Batch Management-->Here you can remove configuration related to batch management.
