SAPConsole support; ITSmobile is only solution?

I know that ITSmobile is going to be replacing Web SAPConsole, but is it also going to be replacing SAPConsole the character-based solution?

I heard of a note that may state this; if anyone knows of that note please reply.

NO:

for text-based applications: SAPConsole

for webbased online applications: ITSmobile (for ABAP Transactions) or JavaWD (here sometimes it makes sanes to use this technology)
