Hello Experts.
Now, we are working with web services (RFC enabled function module based, created through wizard).
From transaction WSADMIN they worked successfully in development system, however, they didn't in quality system after transported.
Finally we found that icf nodes corresponding to the webservices we've created are not activated in quality system. After activation, they works correctly.
Then my question is :
Does ICF node of the transported web service need explicit activation?
(no need to activation in development system as far as i know.)
In our case, transported request contains follows.
・RFC enabled function module
・Web Service Definition
・Soap Runtime Release settings(WSCONFIG settings, client dependent.)
Thanks

Hi,
>Does ICF node of the transported web service need explicit activation?
Answer is YES as you already find out by yourself.
I think it is a safety precaution to be able to know exactly when a new feature is really effective.
That sounds sensible for me.

Olivier
