hi everyone,
we extracted files using SAPCAR and can find files in EPS/in. But in SPAM we cannot find the file to place it in queue?
The could be some dependencies for the Downloaded Support Package. On the Support Package Download page, choose the 'Info' link. and see whats mentioned in the Package Import Conditions
Also check the file permission.

This is what you need to do........
Add the R file to /usr/sap/trans/data
e.g.
R079280.L6D
Add the K file to /usr/sap/trans/cofiles
e.g.
K079280.L6D
Add the file manually to the buffer using:
tp addtobuffer <<file extension><file name>> <queue> <profile>
e.g.
tp addtobuffer L6DK079280 DR3 pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_DR3.PFL
Then import the transports, when they appear in your dev queue

Sorry, don't do this unless you know 120% what you do. What is the reason that you would add a support pack manually like this into the queue? Furthermore after SAPCAR on an SP you don't have an R and K file, this is only available after dissasemble step.
We are not talking about a transport file you got, but about a SP. (Though even for a transport file you can use the GUI).

Jochen
Or the most simple reason, you've extracted them but not uploaded them.
SPAM -> Support Package -> Load Packages -> from application server
does it help? If not, what does
SPAM -> (Directory) "New Support Packages" -> display (all located on the entry page lower left area)
output?

Jochen

Hi,
This might be because some one has changed the path for the queue,You can check the path in al11.

Hi. Can you provide information about the files which you are extracted ? The file names is? Also the OS SAP DB versions is?
For example if you have UNIx like OS the extracted files must have owner SIDADM and best if 777 authorizations. Regards.
